Online bakery Tigerlily Patisserie made the leap to set up a brick-and-mortar caf\u00e9 last August. Helmed by Maxine Ngooi, the head pastry chef of the now-defunct Vianney Massot restaurant, the pastries here are exquisite: an infusion of herbs endows them with a unique touch. Must-tries are the lemon Thai basil tart<\/em>, theBeehive<\/em> (a \u2018hive\u2019 of lemon, thyme and lychee honey jelly, light lemon sponge and honey parfait in a yuzu mousse encasing), and pink guava & pear<\/em>, encased in elderflower mousse.<\/p>\n

Beyond pastries, the patisserie also offers breakfast and brunch items, such as Monsieur Kim<\/em>, a grilled Croque Monsieur with kimchi<\/em>, 5-spice duck confit<\/em> (a split-top bun stuffed with pulled confit duck leg in hoisin mayo, and a refreshing crunch of mala pickled cucumber and carrots), and eggplant \u2018unagi\u2019 <\/em>(charred eggplant steak with sticky soy glaze, basil pesto, ricotta and arugula on sourdough toast).<\/p>\n

In keeping with its name, every dish and beverage at this Instagrammable hotspot is accompanied by a floral decoration or infusion.
