Organised with the Federation internationale de l\u2019Automobile (FIA) \u2014 better known for being the governing body for Formula One and other motorsport events \u2014 the Smart Driving Challenge is one of the organisation\u2019s latest initiatives to promote safe and eco-friendly driving.<\/p>\n<p>In this challenge, drivers compete to be the smartest driver, and the Top Driver in Singapore wins the Grand Prize of a return ticket to Paris, 4D3N accommodation, and a ticket to attend the FIA Prize Giving Ceremony 2019.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1540\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1540\" style=\"width: 250px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/glutenfreepleasure.com\/__proxy_domain\/aa-highway.com.sg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/app.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" td-center wp-image-1540\" src=\"https:\/\/glutenfreepleasure.com\/__proxy_domain\/aa-highway.com.sg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/app-160x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"468\" srcset=\"https:\/\/glutenfreepleasure.com\/__proxy_domain\/aa-highway.com.sg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/app-160x300.png 160w, https:\/\/glutenfreepleasure.com\/__proxy_domain\/aa-highway.com.sg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/app-96x180.png 96w, https:\/\/glutenfreepleasure.com\/__proxy_domain\/aa-highway.com.sg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/app.png 445w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1540\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">*Image for illustration purposes only.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The competition takes place in your own car, and is about one\u2019s everyday driving behaviour. All it takes is a smartphone and plugging in an OBD II Device in your car (compatible with most cars manufactured after 2001). Data from your drives will be evaluated by a digital platform using artificial intelligence. Each drive is measured in real time, and scoring is based on safety, eco driving, and energy efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a first-of-its-kind challenge, where drivers are competing to be the smartest driver \u2014 not necessarily the fastest \u2014 because the smarter you drive, the higher your score,\u201d explains Mr Kenn Liu, General Manager of AAS Academy. \u201cIt is a great way to understand your own driving behaviour through trip feedback at the end of your drive, and learn from tips on how to improve on your next drive.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/8X5GoldQZUU\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The challenge is limited to 100 AA Members, and registration closes on 28 June 2019. It takes place from 15 July\u201313 October 2019. AAS Academy will be offering bespoke training to all participants to enhance their smart driving skills.
