Ensconced in the Kranji Countryside, Poison Ivy bistro was opened in 2005 by the owners of vegetable farm Bollywood Veggies – intrepid farmtrepreneurs Ivy Singh-Lim and her husband, Lim Ho Seng.<\/p>\n

Situated at the Singapore Turf Club Riding Centre, Cheval (French for \u201chorse\u201d) Cafe Bar & Bistro serves delectable bistro fare like Dijon roasted leg of lamb, fish and chips, and grilled boneless Cajun chicken, as well as bar food like The Cheval Platter (stacked with fried calamari, wedges, chicken wings, chicken sausage).<\/p>\n

Starting as an orchid exporter before branching into vegetable farming and F&B, Orchidville<\/span>\u2019<\/span>s Chinese restaurant – Forrest – is situated right next to its greenhouses. The vegetables harvested from them such as nai bai, chye sim, kale and mizuna, invariably find their way into the salads and stir fries in the restaurant<\/span>\u2019<\/span>s kitchen. <\/span><\/p>\n

Besides these, Forrest serves up a plethora of seafood and meat dishes. Some, like the Salted Egg Crab and the impressive-sounding Volcano Rock Charcoal Baked Kampong Chicken, need to be ordered in advance. <\/span><\/p>\n
