ispace, founded in 2010, is publicly traded company focusing on lunar exploration and resource development. CITIZEN became a corporate sponsor of the program in 2019. In December 2022, ispace\u2019s Mission 1 part of the the HAKUTO-R program, was launched from the space center in Cape Canaveral, Florida, becoming the first commercial lander to be launched into space with the aim of landing on the moon. The mission gained vital know-how and data for the program\u2019s next attempt at a lunar landing. Once again, CITIZEN will be providing Super Titanium<\/u>TM*1<\/sup> as a component of the landing legs for its next mission. The lander for Mission 2 is being assembled and is currently scheduled to be launched in Winter 2024. CC4065-61Y features the first-ever full mother of pearl dial from the ATTESA collection. Mother of pearl is layered over a colored base to evoke the distinctive patterns on the moon\u2019s surface, and the center links of the bracelet are made of recrystallized titanium. A range of materials with different textures and properties combine to express the beauty of moonlight at night. This model also has a range of functions provided by CITIZEN\u2019s advanced F950 movement, the ultimate movement for light-powered Eco-Drive satellite wave GPS watches<\/u>*2<\/sup>. The watch is capable of receiving time signals in as little as 3 seconds \u2013 the fastest GPS satellite signal reception in the world<\/u>*3<\/sup> – and the hour and minute hands move rapidly to display the current time. BY1008-67L and BY1009-64Y have a solid, dynamic look to reflect the progress of technological innovation pioneered by ispace\u2019s HAKUTO-R program as well as CITIZEN\u2019s vast development and technological capabilities. The textured ink on the dial creates a rugged texture inspired by the distinctive patterns on the surface of the moon. Each model features Luna Program<\/u>*4<\/sup> which calculates the moon phase for each day based on date signals received from radio transmitters.
