The application process for EntrePass is more complex than that for the Employment Pass. In addition, it requires a minimum paid-up capital amount of S$50,000.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;50px&#8221;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;71353&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row type=&#8221;container&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1489584268356{margin-top: -30px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4>Our Services cover<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Pre-application advising on Singapore Entrepreneur Pass and gathering of necessary information<\/li>\n<li>Drafting and preparing business plan<\/li>\n<li>Preparing documentary requirements and filing of EntrePass application<\/li>\n<li>Tracking of EntrePass application status while under processing<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with Direct MOM officer in charge, if required<\/li>\n<li>Responding to MOM\u2019s requests for additional information, if any<\/li>\n<li>Arranging for issuance of EntrePass upon in-principle approval (IPA)<\/li>\n<li>Filing of unlimited appeal in case of rejection of EntrePass application<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Who is eligible<\/h4>\n<p>You are eligible for an EntrePass if:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You have (or intend to start) a private limited company registered with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority.\n<ul>\n<li>If registered, the company must be less than 6 months old on the date you apply.<\/li>\n<li>If you have not registered, you can wait for the outcome of your application before registering.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Your company has at least $50,000 in paid-up-capital. You need to provide a bank statement that shows at least $50,000 in a Singapore-based company bank account.<\/li>\n<li>You hold at least 30% of the shares in the company.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Application for an EntrePass is open to all nationalities.<br \/>\nYour company also needs to meet at least one of these requirements, which will be assessed on merits:<\/p>\n<h4>1) Has funding from a Government-accredited VC or business angel<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">Your company receives funding or investment from a venture capitalist (VC) or business angel who is accredited by a Singapore Government agency.<\/p>\n<p>Examples include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contact Singapore &#8211; Global Investor Programme<\/li>\n<li>Economic Development Board Investments<\/li>\n<li>Infocomm Investment<\/li>\n<li>National Research Foundation &#8211; Early Stage Venture Funding<\/li>\n<li>SPRING Singapore &#8211; SPRING SEEDS, Business Angel Scheme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Guidelines:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>The company must receive monetary funding of at least $100,000.<\/li>\n<li>Submit a shareholder certificate and other relevant documentation to support your application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>2) Holds an intellectual property<\/h4>\n<p>Your company holds an intellectual property (IP) that is registered with an approved national IP institution.<\/p>\n<h4>Guidelines:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>One of the shareholders must be the owner of the IP.<\/li>\n<li>Expired IPs can be considered as long as one of the shareholders is the inventor of the IP.<\/li>\n<li>The IP must be related to your proposed business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>3) Has research collaboration with A*STAR or a university<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">Your company has an ongoing research collaboration with a research institution recognised by the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) or institutes of higher learning in Singapore.<\/p>\n<p>Examples include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>National Research Foundation &#8211; Campus for Research Excellence and Technological Enterprise, Research Centres of Excellence<\/li>\n<li>National University of Singapore<\/li>\n<li>Nanyang Technological University<\/li>\n<li>A*STAR Research Institutes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Guidelines<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>The duration of the research collaboration is not essential.<\/li>\n<li>The research institution needs to provide a contact person to verify the research collaboration details, which must be related to your proposed business.<\/li>\n<li>You must be involved with ongoing research collaboration.<\/li>\n<li>Contract of services is not considered to be research collaboration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>4) Is an incubatee at a Government-supported incubator<\/h4>\n<p>Your company is an incubatee at a Singapore Government-supported incubator.<br \/>\nExamples include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>National Research Foundation &#8211; Technology<\/li>\n<li>Incubation SchemeMedia Development Authority &#8211; iJam<\/li>\n<li>SPRING Singapore &#8211; Incubator Development Programme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Guidelines<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>You must be an existing incubatee.<\/li>\n<li>Your incubatee work must be related to your proposed business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Businesses that are not eligible<\/h4>\n<p>The following businesses are not eligible for an EntrePass:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coffee shops, hawker centres, food courts.<\/li>\n<li>Bars, night clubs, karaoke lounges.<\/li>\n<li>Foot reflexology, massage parlours.<\/li>\n<li>Acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine, herbal dispensing businesses.<\/li>\n<li>Employment agencies.<\/li>\n<li>Geomancy business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Documents required for EntrePass<\/h4>\n<p>You need to submit documents such as a business plan and copies of your passport along with the EntrePass application.<br \/>\nYou will need these documents to apply:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Copy of the personal particulars page of your passport.<\/li>\n<li>Past employment testimonials in English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A business plan (not more than 10 pages) with the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Business idea<\/li>\n<li>Product or service offered<\/li>\n<li>Market analysis<\/li>\n<li>Market plan<\/li>\n<li>Operation plan<\/li>\n<li>Financial projections<\/li>\n<li>Management team<\/li>\n<li>Supporting documents &#8211; for example, licensing agreements, product certifications and endorsements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For businesses registered with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Company\u2019s latest business profile or instant information.<\/li>\n<li>A bank statement of at least $50,000 from a Singapore-based company bank account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Renew an EntrePass<\/h3>\n<p>If you hold an EntrePass, you can start applying to renew the pass 3 months before it expires.
