This artistically daring performing arts center has altered Singapore’s skyline forever. Esplanade Theatres on the bay, a top-notch performing arts center constructed of two circular glass domes equipped with more than 7,000 triangular aluminum sunshades, is one of the most striking structures in Singapore.

Due to its twin towers’ resemblance to the prickly tropical fruit that is specific to this region of the world, the venue has been called “the Durian” by locals.

The area’s striking design has made it iconic with the nation and a quirky counterpoint to the surrounding Marina Bay Sands and Singapore Flyer‘s symmetrical architecture.

The 1,600-seat Concert Hall, which was created by renowned local firm DP Architects, is where the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and other national, regional, and worldwide musical artists frequently play. The 2,000-seat Theatre next door is likely to provide what you’re looking for whether you’re in the mood for some Shakespeare or possibly a performance of modern dance.

Klook.com</ins>
!["Esplanade]("https://glutenfreepleasure.com/__proxy_domain/finestservices.com.sg/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/wallpaperflare.com_wallpaper-7-scaled.jpg")
