Mr. Geoff Kitchen, accompanied by his wife, was aboard Singapore Airlines flight SQ321, embarking on what neighbors described as a “holiday of a lifetime” lasting six weeks. Departing from London’s Heathrow Airport, the Boeing 777-300ER encountered severe turbulence over Myanmar’s Irrawaddy Basin, prompting a diversion to Bangkok. Tragically, Mr. Kitchen passed away, likely from a heart attack amid the turbulent ordeal, as reported by Suvarnabhumi Airport’s general manager, Kittipong Kittikachorn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year, he pursued a political endeavor by running for election in his town council as an independent candidate, advocating for the restoration of the neighborhood’s “creative heart.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Thornbury Musical Theatre Group honored Mr. Kitchen’s contributions, highlighting his unwavering commitment, honesty, and integrity throughout his 35-year tenure, during which he held pivotal roles such as chairman, treasurer, and secretary.
