With the use of creative worksheets in baby classes right up to preschoolers, we aim to provide adequate training in activating the preschooler’s Left Brain. The worksheets we provide will increase 3 times from the infant & toddler level when the children join our preschool enrichment programs at age 5, and increase up to 5 times at the age of 6. The worksheets are constructed with specific purposes: class, revision and homework. The subjects covered by these worksheets include numeracy, languages and general knowledge. Our studies show that with visualisation aids, the guidance of our incredible teacher and peer support in the classroom, the preschoolers’ cognitive capabilities are enhanced. Lesson are structured to be fun and organic, helping the preschoolers assimilate classroom content. Homework is assigned to help further reinforce knowledge learnt in the classroom.

The right brain specialises in functioning through visualisation and forming impressions. It prompts us to encourage and support the activation of the left brain. The left brain specialises in logic and reasoning, and research shows that it starts developing from the age of 3. With the acceleration of growth in the left brain, here at Heguru we want to encourage children to create more output in the form of activity and writing.

Striking this delicate balance of facilitating the best environment for Left Brain development and tapping into the previously developed Right Brain, our enrichment classes for preschoolers will be able to guide children into an optimal use of both Brain Hemispheres. In doing so, we hone the abilities of their mind, their confidence and their intuition.

Ensuring that the Right Brain and Left Brain development are in tandem is the first step to be mentally ready for primary school education. It is our commitment that every participant of our Preschool Enrichment programs will be able to achieve this end outcome.
