At Loh Eben Ong LLP, we will prepare your Deed Poll in advance based on the information you submit online. A draft Deed Poll will be provided for your review on your appointment date before the signing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We encourage all clients to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Carefully check the spelling of names (especially for Chinese characters, if applicable);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure that the <strong>new name<\/strong> is correct and matches all relevant documents;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Notify us immediately if any amendments are required before the Deed Poll is executed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-when-and-how-will-i-receive-the-draft-deed-poll\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>When and how will I receive the draft Deed Poll?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For <strong>standard cases<\/strong>, the draft is usually <strong>prepared before your in-office appointment<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In some cases, you may be given a chance to <strong>review it on-site<\/strong> prior to signing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If clarification or supporting documents are needed, we may contact you <strong>before the appointment<\/strong> to confirm certain details.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-can-i-request-changes-to-the-draft-before-signing\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Can I request changes to the draft before signing?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes. If you notice any errors or wish to make changes (e.g. revise spelling, adjust Chinese characters), please inform us <strong>before signing<\/strong> the Deed Poll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once the Deed Poll is signed and witnessed, <strong>no further changes can be made<\/strong>.
