The RPEC form can be found in the\u00a0Candidate&#8217;s Portal.<\/p>\n<p>An Approved Mentor will be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>contractually employed by an ATO.\u00a0There may be exceptional cases for an External Mentor;<\/li>\n<li>a senior staff\u00a0with knowledge of the Candidate\u2019s work and training undertaken; and<\/li>\n<li>a\u00a0member of a professional accountancy body that is recognised by IFAC with at least 3 years of\u00a0post-professional qualification experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>An Approved Mentor will need to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>have an interest in developing Candidates and discuss training issues;<\/li>\n<li>carry out 6-monthly reviews with the assigned Candidates to ensure that they are able to achieve the requirements of a Chartered Accountant of Singapore.
