Signing Your HDB Power of Attorney Overseas<\/h2>\n

Firstly, if you are already overseas, you must sign the Power of Attorney before an authorised witness. This means either a Singapore Consular Officer at a Singapore Overseas Mission, or a Notary Public appointed in the country where you sign.<\/p>\n

CPF Purchase Requirement:<\/strong> If you are using CPF Ordinary Account savings to buy a flat, the rule is stricter. The POA must<\/strong> be witnessed and sealed or stamped by an official at a Singapore Overseas Mission. A foreign Notary Public is not acceptable for CPF purchase POAs.<\/div>\n

Yes. You may revoke a POA at any time while you still have mental capacity, and you should also register the revocation so that HDB and other parties have notice.
