What makes up your LPA quote?<\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>Certificate issuer fee<\/h3><\/div>This covers our lawyer\u2019s attendance as certificate issuer for the selected Form 1 service. It includes discussing the LPA with you and assessing the required safeguards before certification.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

OPG application fee<\/h3><\/div>This is payable to the Office of the Public Guardian. It is separate from our professional fee and appears as its own item in the estimate.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
OPGO: prepare online, then meet our lawyer<\/h2><\/div>For the usual online route, complete LPA Form 1 in OPGO and ask all Donees and any Replacement Donee to accept their appointments. Once they have accepted, book your certification appointment.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Hardcopy options and submission<\/span><\/a><\/div>Book hardcopy appointment<\/span><\/a><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>OPG fees for LPA Form 1<\/h2><\/div>The current application fees are S$0 for Singapore Citizens, S$30 for Permanent Residents and S$160 for foreigners<\/strong>. These are government charges, separate from the certificate issuer\u2019s fee.<\/p>\n<\/div>OPG applies the fee based on the residency status declared in your LPA and the prevailing rate when you submit it. Check your details before sending the draft to your Donees.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Certification cannot be promised in advance. If concerns remain, the lawyer may need more information or may decline to certify. Payment of a fee does not guarantee certification or OPG registration.<\/p>\n<\/div>

For an OPGO application, complete the online details and obtain the Donees\u2019 acceptance before booking certification.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
<\/i><\/i><\/span>Must my Donees attend the OPGO appointment?<\/span><\/a><\/h3><\/div>\nYour Donees accept their appointments through OPGO before you meet the certificate issuer. They do not sign with you at that meeting. Ask our office in advance if someone will accompany you or if you need help with a hardcopy signing arrangement.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
<\/i><\/i><\/span>Does this calculator cover LPA Form 2?<\/span><\/a><\/h3><\/div>\nNo. It covers our Form 1 services only. We do not provide an LPA Form 2 service. Form 2 involves customised powers and requires clauses drafted by a lawyer.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Certificate issuer fee<\/h3><\/div>This covers our lawyer\u2019s attendance as certificate issuer for the selected Form 1 service. It includes discussing the LPA with you and assessing the required safeguards before certification.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
Optional services<\/h3><\/div>Hardcopy form preparation, courier delivery and interpretation are separate items. Select them only if needed and confirm the arrangements with our office.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
OPG application fee<\/h3><\/div>This is payable to the Office of the Public Guardian. It is separate from our professional fee and appears as its own item in the estimate.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
OPGO: prepare online, then meet our lawyer<\/h2><\/div>For the usual online route, complete LPA Form 1 in OPGO and ask all Donees and any Replacement Donee to accept their appointments. Once they have accepted, book your certification appointment.<\/p>\n<\/div>
Bring your original NRIC or passport and your smartphone with Singpass and digital signing ready. You must attend in person in Singapore.<\/p>\n<\/div>
Book OPGO appointment<\/span><\/a><\/div>How to submit your LPA through OPGO<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>Hardcopy: check that the exception applies<\/h2><\/div>OPG accepts hardcopy applications only in exceptional situations, subject to its approval. Please discuss this route with us before preparing or signing the form.<\/p>\n<\/div>
If you want us to complete the hardcopy Form 1 and cover letter, select Option 3 in our online submission form. Preparation and courier delivery are additional services.<\/p>\n<\/div>
Hardcopy options and submission<\/span><\/a><\/div>Book hardcopy appointment<\/span><\/a><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>OPG fees for LPA Form 1<\/h2><\/div>The current application fees are S$0 for Singapore Citizens, S$30 for Permanent Residents and S$160 for foreigners<\/strong>. These are government charges, separate from the certificate issuer\u2019s fee.<\/p>\n<\/div>OPG applies the fee based on the residency status declared in your LPA and the prevailing rate when you submit it. Check your details before sending the draft to your Donees.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The lawyer also checks that no fraud or undue pressure led you to make it.<\/p>\n<\/div>
Certification cannot be promised in advance. If concerns remain, the lawyer may need more information or may decline to certify. Payment of a fee does not guarantee certification or OPG registration.<\/p>\n<\/div>

<\/i><\/i><\/span>How is interpretation charged?<\/span><\/a><\/h3><\/div>\nThe calculator adds S$50 for each person who needs Mandarin or Hokkien interpretation at the signing appointment. <\/i><\/i><\/span>Do I need the hardcopy preparation add-on for OPGO?<\/span><\/a><\/h3><\/div>\nNo. That add-on is for preparing a hardcopy LPA Form 1 and cover letter under Option 3. For an OPGO application, complete the online details and obtain the Donees\u2019 acceptance before booking certification.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
<\/i><\/i><\/span>Must my Donees attend the OPGO appointment?<\/span><\/a><\/h3><\/div>\nYour Donees accept their appointments through OPGO before you meet the certificate issuer. They do not sign with you at that meeting. Ask our office in advance if someone will accompany you or if you need help with a hardcopy signing arrangement.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
<\/i><\/i><\/span>Does this calculator cover LPA Form 2?<\/span><\/a><\/h3><\/div>\nNo. It covers our Form 1 services only. We do not provide an LPA Form 2 service. Form 2 involves customised powers and requires clauses drafted by a lawyer.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

These are government charges, separate from the certificate issuer\u2019s fee.<\/p>\n<\/div>OPG applies the fee based on the residency status declared in your LPA and the prevailing rate when you submit it. <\/i><\/i><\/span>Must my Donees attend the OPGO appointment?<\/span><\/a><\/h3><\/div>\nYour Donees accept their appointments through OPGO before you meet the certificate issuer. They do not sign with you at that meeting. Ask our office in advance if someone will accompany you or if you need help with a hardcopy signing arrangement.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Hardcopy options and submission<\/span><\/a><\/div>Book hardcopy appointment<\/span><\/a><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>OPG fees for LPA Form 1<\/h2><\/div>The current application fees are S$0 for Singapore Citizens, S$30 for Permanent Residents and S$160 for foreigners<\/strong>. These are government charges, separate from the certificate issuer\u2019s fee.<\/p>\n<\/div>OPG applies the fee based on the residency status declared in your LPA and the prevailing rate when you submit it. Check your details before sending the draft to your Donees.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The lawyer also checks that no fraud or undue pressure led you to make it.<\/p>\n<\/div>
Certification cannot be promised in advance. If concerns remain, the lawyer may need more information or may decline to certify. Payment of a fee does not guarantee certification or OPG registration.<\/p>\n<\/div>

For an OPGO application, complete the online details and obtain the Donees\u2019 acceptance before booking certification.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
<\/i><\/i><\/span>Must my Donees attend the OPGO appointment?<\/span><\/a><\/h3><\/div>\nYour Donees accept their appointments through OPGO before you meet the certificate issuer. They do not sign with you at that meeting. Ask our office in advance if someone will accompany you or if you need help with a hardcopy signing arrangement.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
<\/i><\/i><\/span>Does this calculator cover LPA Form 2?<\/span><\/a><\/h3><\/div>\nNo. It covers our Form 1 services only. We do not provide an LPA Form 2 service. Form 2 involves customised powers and requires clauses drafted by a lawyer.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

These are government charges, separate from the certificate issuer\u2019s fee.<\/p>\n<\/div>OPG applies the fee based on the residency status declared in your LPA and the prevailing rate when you submit it. <\/i><\/i><\/span>Must my Donees attend the OPGO appointment?<\/span><\/a><\/h3><\/div>\nYour Donees accept their appointments through OPGO before you meet the certificate issuer. They do not sign with you at that meeting. Ask our office in advance if someone will accompany you or if you need help with a hardcopy signing arrangement.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
