Where Your Fees Go<\/h2>\n

Notary Public fees in Singapore are fixed by statute<\/strong> under the First Schedule of the Notaries Public Rules<\/em> (Cap. 208, R1) \u2014 they are not set by the law firm. Every notarised document must, by law, carry an Apostille<\/strong> issued by the Singapore Academy of Law (SAL).<\/p>\n

The Apostille fee of S$87.20<\/strong> (S$80 + 9% GST) is a statutory disbursement paid to SAL<\/strong> \u2014 paid up-front by the Notary on your behalf and not<\/em> retained by the firm.<\/p>\n

Witnessing is based on one signer per document \u2014 additional parties on the same document: S$20 (2nd party) \/ S$10 (3rd onwards); each exhibit S$10. CTC is based on single-page documents; subsequent pages of the same document: S$2 per page.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Important Notes for Clients<\/h2><\/div>
    \n
  1. Apostille is mandatory.<\/strong> Since 16 September 2021, every notarised document must be accompanied by an Apostille issued by the Singapore Academy of Law \u2014 there is no opt-out. The S$87.20 Apostille fee is a statutory charge paid by the Notary to SAL up-front and is not retained by the Notary.<\/li>\n
  2. Bundling is only available for CTC.<\/strong> Several certified true copies may be grouped under a single Notarial Certificate \u2014 but only if the overseas recipient is prepared to accept a bundled NC. Please confirm this with the recipient before<\/em> opting to bundle. Witnessing cannot be bundled \u2014 each document signed before the Notary requires its own Notarial Certificate.<\/li>\n
  3. Collection of Apostille.<\/strong> After notarisation in our office, the client is required to personally bring the notarised document to SAL at 1 Coleman Street, #08-06 The Adelphi<\/a>, to collect the Apostille. No further payment is required at the SAL counter. An e-Apostille alternative may be available \u2014 subject to the overseas recipient’s confirmed acceptance.<\/li>\n
  4. Additional charges.<\/strong> Extra signers, exhibits, additional pages of the same document, outcall service, couriers, photocopies, and ACRA extracts are charged separately per the prescribed scale and firm disbursement rates.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
