At $35, CloseUp offers a sonic brush technology with 8x plaque removal and three types of cleaning modes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The main reason why I chose CloseUp was because of its price point of $35 that makes it a standout option as compared to other electric toothbrushes which are within the $60 to $100 range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition to that, the CloseUp Sonic Expert actually comes with features such as 8x plaque removal, an IPX7 Waterproof rating, 3 types of cleaning modes, and 60-days battery life that can rival those found in a higher-end electric toothbrush. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The affordability also extends to the replacement of the brush heads which, for other electric toothbrushes, would be priced at more than $10. So, instead of having to continuously pay a pricey amount when replacing the brush heads, I only have to pay $8.60 for a pair. <\/p>\n\n\n\n This, is perhaps, what made it a little easier to pick Closeup\u2019s electric toothbrush as my first-ever oral beauty tool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Unlike other brands which either had a combination of loud or muted colours, the Sonic Expert comes in three gorgeous colours namely pastel pink, pastel green, and black. Compared with other electric toothbrushes, I really liked that the colour scheme extended beyond the body of the toothbrush and applies even to the brush head, making the colours pop and simply catches the eye wherever its placed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition to its exterior design, the Sonic Expert also felt lightweight, giving me a similar hold to that of a manual toothbrush. I was surprised by this because I had the impression that electric toothbrushes would often have a heavier body to account for the built-in battery \u2014 which is able to offer 60 days of battery life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The weight of this electric toothbrush definitely made it easier for me to get used to it as I did not feel like I needed to adjust the way I held my toothbrush.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I liked that the brush head came with 0.1mm ultra-thin bristles too, which felt soft and gentle on my sensitive gums despite the pressure from the vibrations when in use.
