Tucked away in a non-descriptive corner of downtown, is a treasury of savoury soups and delightful treats. If you don’t already know, Kurohanabi hails all the way from Hokkaido and opens its first outlet here at Suntec City.\u00a0<\/p>

While most of us are no stranger to wagyu, trying the innards was definitely a first and unforgettable experience. Served in Kurohanabi’s signature sesame miso soup, the motsu nabe is packed full of umami. Vegetables are thrown into stew for good measure. And the result? Flavoured fat melted from the intestines paired with the natural sweetness of the greens. The motsu nabe is guaranteed to warm the cockles of your heart. The offals are tender albeit chewy from hours of boiling. So if you’re not used to the texture, there is a version with natto (fermented soybeans) available as well.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Okono-miyaki is perhaps one of the most recognisable Japanese street food. Kurohanabi has taken it a notch up by adding motsu into the mix. The special in-house okonomiyaki sauce and mayonnaise drizzled on this simple pancake dish enhances the flavours further.
