For Condo Group Swimming Classes<\/strong><\/p>

Fees for swimming lessons are billed in advance for each term, with options for 24 or 12 lesson packages. Classes occur at the same time and day each week, including during months with a fifth week, which might include dates like the 29th, 30th, or 31st.Lessons will proceed as scheduled unless cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, on the eve of a public holiday, or on public holidays, in accordance with condominium policies.<\/p>

To secure their current slot and register for the next term, existing students must complete payment for the upcoming set of 12 lessons by the 6th lesson and for 24 lessons by the 18th lesson of the current term. Lesson times are officially reserved only after the payment has been processed.<\/p>

Invoices will be emailed in advance. To retain your slot, full payment for the month is\u00a0 required before classes commence. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.<\/p>

Procedure:\u00a0<\/strong>If a student wishes to withdraw from their swim class in December, the school requires withdrawal notice to be provided in November. Regardless of when in November the student or parent notifies us, the deposited amount will cover the swim fee for December, and no additional payment will be required for that month.<\/p>

Any promotional offers, rebates, or credits will be forfeited during the notice period. No compensation for missed lessons will be provided, including for hospitalizations.<\/p>

All swimming lessons adhere to a weekly fixed schedule, offering four lessons per month. Each session includes a 45-minute swimming lesson followed by a 5-minute debriefing session between the teacher, parents, and students, totaling up to 50 minutes per session.<\/p>

We kindly request that parents ensure their children maintain regular attendance and arrive early and punctually for their lessons. This is crucial to prevent any disruptions or delays. Swimwerks reserves the right to deny entry to latecomers without offering compensation or adjusting the fee for the shortened lesson.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Swim lessons are scheduled for a fixed day and time each week, totaling up to 5 lessons per month, including weeks with a fifth session.<\/p>

Our group classes are designed for a small setting, maintaining a 1:4 teacher-to-student ratio, with a cap of 4 students per class.<\/p>

Each session lasts 45 minutes, followed by a 5-minute debriefing between the teacher, parents, and student, culminating in a total duration of up to 50 minutes.<\/p>

We urge parents to ensure their children arrive early and punctually to maximise the learning experience without disruptions. Swimwerks reserves the right to deny entry to latecomers without offering additional time or fee adjustments.<\/p>

Swimwerks does not offer makeup lessons or endorse ad-hoc changes to student class assignments to maintain a focused learning environment.<\/p>

A one-time request for a permanent class change may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to school approval.<\/p>

Swimwerks retains the authority to appoint suitable instructors for all group classes. Preference for selecting swim instructors is exclusive to private lessons.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

There will be swimming lessons on the 29th, 30th and 31st of the calendar month which is the 5th week. Swimwerks operates for all days of the month, unless otherwise informed in advance to parents\/students for specified periods\/or days of the month in which lessons are cancelled.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Swimming lessons on Singapore Public Holidays and the eves of Public Holidays are\u00a0 contingent upon the approval of the venue\u2019s managing agent. For venues like in-house\u00a0 facilities or condominiums that permit swimming classes, lessons will proceed as\u00a0 scheduled.<\/p>

For Condo Group Swimming Classes<\/strong><\/p>

Singapore Public Holiday and Eve of Public Holidays swimming lessons are subject to venue\u2019s managing agent (MCST) approval.<\/p>

For Nordcom 1 & 2 Group Swimming Classes<\/strong><\/p>

Classes will continue as scheduled on Singapore Public Holidays.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

For Private Swimming Classes & For Condo Group Swimming Classes<\/strong><\/p>

Customers utilising Swimwerks\u2019 services at condominiums, clubs, or any swimming facilities must verify and comply with the respective management\u2019s rules and regulations, including the registration of swim teachers. Customers must promptly inform Swimwerks of any changes affecting pool availability, such as closures or maintenance. Swimwerks is not liable for lesson interruptions caused by facility management decisions.<\/p>

Each swimming facility has its regulations, over which Swimwerks has no authority. If facility management restricts access for any reason, customers are responsible for finding an alternative location for classes to continue. Swimwerks is not accountable for changes in facility availability, and lessons halted for such reasons will still incur charges without refunds.<\/p>

Immediate changes impacting service delivery should be addressed by residents with their managing agents. Customers should inform Swimwerks when lessons can resume. Charges will apply during any stoppage, as Swimwerks cannot influence these situations.<\/p>

Swimwerks is not responsible for any security deposits at management offices or entrance fees for students attending classes. These costs are the responsibility of the customers or students utilising our services.<\/p>

For Nordcom 1 & 2 Group Swimming Classes<\/strong><\/p>

Each swimming facility has its own rules, which Swimwerks respects but does not govern.<\/p>

Parents and students must adhere to the regulations set by the MCST of Nordcom 1, 2, or any other designated class locations. As these facilities are managed by the MCST, all users are obliged to follow their rules.<\/p>

Post-lesson, all users must dry off before exiting the pool area to maintain safety and cleanliness.<\/p>

The pool is reserved exclusively for lessons and aquatic training. Students must be supervised by parents and their assigned swim instructors during sessions. Personal swimming is not permitted.<\/p>

Please note, Nordcom 1 & 2 pools do not have lifeguard services; swimming is at the individual\u2019s risk.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

For locations lacking appropriate indoor facilities for the wet weather program, instructors will dismiss students to return home as a precaution. If feasible, and there\u2019s a remaining minimum of 15 minutes, the instructor may call for the resumption of the class to utilise the remaining time, provided there\u2019s no suitable sheltered area available.<\/p>

Swimwerks wishes to convey that no compensatory sessions or fee adjustments will be offered if our instructors have reached the venue or have started the session but are hindered by poor weather conditions. Such circumstances are treated as the delivery of services for the swimming lesson, without entitlements to session cancellations or fee modifications.<\/p>

Swimwerks retains the authority to determine the most suitable course of action for swimming classes under challenging weather conditions.<\/p>

For Nordcom 1 & 2 Group Swimming Classes<\/strong><\/p>

Maintaining consistency is crucial for mastering swimming and developing motor skills, which necessitate regular practice and correction to learn proper techniques effectively.<\/p>

Our \u2018Learn to Swim\u2019 program is designed to accommodate a variety of training activities suitable for all weather conditions. These include fitness and stretching exercises, stroke techniques and corrections, static drills, water safety education, and basic lifesaving skills. We emphasise the importance of timely and regular attendance for all students.<\/p>

Weather conditions such as lightning or heavy rain can pose significant safety risks and are beyond our control. In the event of such weather conditions, which compromise visibility and safety, Swimwerks and our instructors reserve the right to cancel water based lessons and switch to our indoor wet weather program.
If adverse weather conditions arise after the instructor\u2019s arrival or during a lesson, the instructor will promptly move all students to a sheltered area to continue with the wet weather program.<\/p>

Please note that no make-up sessions or fee adjustments will be provided for lessons affected by inclement weather once our instructors have arrived at the venue.<\/p>

A minimum of four lessons per month is required for consistent progress. Make-up lessons for missed sessions due to weather or personal reasons must be scheduled. Notifications for lesson postponements must be made 12 hours in advance via WhatsApp to avoid charges. Make-up lessons depend on availability and may involve substitute teachers. No compensation is provided for missed group sessions.<\/p>

For Condo Group Swimming Classes<\/strong><\/p>

In our group lessons, we treat any absences as a session completed, there are no make-up classes or adjustments to swimming fees. This approach stems from our commitment to maintain small class sizes, capped at a maximum of four students, to facilitate efficient and effective learning. The small class size ensures personalised attention and fosters a conducive learning environment, making it impractical to accommodate make-up sessions. Additionally, this policy prevents the disruption that can occur from having students of varying ages and skill levels joining and leaving sessions, which could hinder the cohesive progress of the class.<\/p>

For Nordcom 1 & 2 Group Swimming Classes<\/strong><\/p>

For group lessons, any missed sessions will be considered as completed, and there will be no provision for make-up lessons or fee adjustments.<\/p>

Absences, regardless of the reason, will count as a completed session. The policy accounts for the allocation of time and resources for the scheduled lesson, which will proceed and be deemed completed even in the absence of all students.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

For Nordcom 1 & 2 Group Swimming Classes<\/strong><\/p>

Valid Medical Proof<\/strong><\/p>

Swimwerks allows for one (1) credited session per term (12 lessons) upon presentation of valid medical documentation, evaluated on a case-by-case basis.<\/p>

Hospitalisation<\/strong><\/p>

Hospitalisation documentation may be submitted for consideration. Swimwerks reserves the right to offer a prorated fee adjustment based on individual circumstances.<\/p>

Note: It is the responsibility of parents to provide medical documentation to the Swimwerks operations team via email at operations@swimwerks.com.sg. Failure to submit the required documentation will result in the forfeiture of the session credit.<\/p>

A 30-day advance notice and proof of travel (airline tickets, hotel bookings, visa documentation) must be submitted to our team via email for approval. Failure to provide the necessary documentation will result in the sessions being considered as completed without compensation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Swimwerks follows the Swim Schools International (SSI) and Swimsafer syllabus. Swimwerks in collaboration with SPORTS SG, Swimsafer tests are scheduled twice a year, and eligibility requires 80% attendance. The decision to register for assessments is optional. Results from assessments are final by the testing organisation and\/or school, with retest charges applicable.<\/p>

All test bookings are subject to the availability and conditions in accordance with Swimwerks and the relevant government agencies. Assessment charges will apply accordingly.<\/p>
