Cloud adoption is accelerating faster than previously anticipated. It is changing business functions and\u00a0provides cost and time-effective solutions.\u00a0In the article, 3E Accounting was being highlighted for accepting the cloud technology that has benefited their business as a whole.<\/p>\n

Cloud acceptance by service providers
\n<\/strong>The last reason why you might have to consider using cloud is that your vendors might already be on the cloud. Vital service providers such as accounting firms are also embracing the cloud solution. Singapore\u2019s leading accounting network,\u00a03E Accounting International Network<\/a>, which has 1,200 staff in 79 offices around the world is\u00a0using Xero to service their corporate clients<\/a>.<\/p>\n

3E Accounting accepted Xero because its cloud technology allows real time access to financial information and provides critical services such as automatic bank reconciliation.\u00a0Lawrence noted the\u00a0importance of cashflow for SMEs\u00a0which is being tracked in real time by Xero. This functionality is the motivation behind his push for cloud-based accounting which added to the explosive cloud acceptance in 2017.<\/p>\n

According to the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA),\u00a0only 30% of Singaporean businesses<\/a>\u00a0are on the cloud and they reported higher productivity growth. Over the next 3 to 10 years, IMDA expects to see growing adoption of cloud computing given its elasticity over traditional IT solutions.<\/p>\n
