This agreement comes following the addendum put for the in the Tripartite Cluster for Landscape Industry (TCL)\u2019s<sup>&nbsp;<\/sup>report. The TCL requested that Progressive Wage Models or PWM bonuses be given to those in the landscape maintenance sub-sector beginning January 2020. Annual increments to the PWM wages will follow beginning July 2023 to 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The TCL\u2019s recommendations were published in its 2018 report. It is an important step forward towards enhancing the PWM landscape. Bonus payments of at least 2 weeks\u2019 salary will be paid to the eligible staff beginning 1 January 2020.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Benefits of Implementing Progressive Wage Models (PWM) Bonuses<\/h3>\n<p>Implementing this bonus structure will help boost the total income levels of employees in this sector. This is turn, will motivate them to remain with loyal to the employer. Employers stand to benefit too from this new structure, making it easier to retain and attract the best employees in the business.<\/p>\n<p>The <a title=\"Introduction of Singapore Government\" href=\"https:\/\/glutenfreepleasure.com\/__proxy_domain\/www.3ecpa.com.sg\/resources\/miscellaneous-topics\/singapore-government\/\">Singapore government<\/a> is in full support of the TCL\u2019s recommendation regarding the minimum increment of 3% annually to wage levels. This will be subject to review. If approved, the implementation is set to begin 1 July annually from 2023 to 2025. This will affect PWM job levels across the landscape maintenance sector.
