Covid-19 is a game-changer for many industries and companies. For 3E Accounting, Covid-19 represents the validation of our company-wide practice of empowering all our employees to work from home<\/a> where necessary. Prior to Covid-19, we championed work-life balance for working mothers who work from home by embracing technology such as Double Robotics to liaise with colleagues and clients. During Covid-19, this had the additional function of supporting our Safe Management Officer (SMO) in ensuring safe distancing at work.<\/p>\n

We purchased Double Robotics in April 2016 for $5,000 from a local vendor after witnessing the productivity gain from an Australian corporate service provider. We realized that face to face meetings are essential for full and complete communication as facial expressions conveyed a more complete story than just voice or words. This motivated us to open a physical office in Novena so that we can get the work done in 1<\/strong> round instead of multiple reworks due to miscommunication.<\/p>\n

Before Covid-19, our workforce spends 30% of their time working from home. After Covid-19<\/a>, we managed to transit 100% of our workforce to work from home seamlessly. All our employees have been used to working from home and all our systems have been primed for our workforce of 45 to work from home.<\/p>\n
