They have to be equipped with the knowledge in BIM to understand the modelling requirements and how buildings, structures or services go together to be able to do so accurately in a BIM model. The level of responsibility of a BIM Modeller can vary depending on who they work for. These individuals may specialise in many areas including Architectural, Structural, Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical modelling.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-5da2f33 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"5da2f33\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-bd9eccd\" data-id=\"bd9eccd\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b28544a elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"b28544a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">What are the Roles &amp; Responsibilities of a time-based BIM Modeller?<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cc70098 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"cc70098\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The roles and responsibilities of a Time-based BIM Modeller shall include but not limited to those indicated in the Singapore BIM Guide and the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adhere to project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) throughout the BIM cycle in the project<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Follow and adopt the BIM workflow and processes outlined in the BEP<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Update modelling progress status to the BIM coordinator regularly<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adhere to project naming conventions outlined in the BEP<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Create objects or families as and when needed or as instructed by the BIM Coordinator<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prepare 2D tender drawings for submissions based on the details of the BIM model<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Annotate documentation views by adding dimensions, tags, legends, schedules, etc. to meet submission requirements<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adhere to project requirements or standards set when modelling elements<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adhere to work delegation assigned by the BIM Manager or BIM Coordinator<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Model all elements as per design intent<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Update models and drawings based on the latest design information<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Highlight clashes found in BIM model to BIM coordinator<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assist BIM Coordinator in making amendments\/updates to BIM models<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Who are the time-based BIM Modellers?
