Necessary to be a perfect energy saving building by using various Daikin technologies.<\/li>\n<li>Optimize air conditioning system for the 2 different types of application (Office and laboratory) within the same building<\/li>\n<li>Create comfortable office and laboratory for \u201cInnovation\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"case-SolutionBlock_item -solution\">\n<h2 class=\"case-SolutionBlock_heading\">Daikin Solution<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"case-List\">\n<li> Realized overwhelming energy saving by optimum placement of energy efficient equipment such as DAIKIN\u2019s high sensible heat <span class=\"brand-italic\">VRV<\/span>. Achieved 70% reduction of energy consumption compared to a general building in Japan.<\/li>\n<li>Adopted <span class=\"brand-italic\">VRV<\/span> for the office area and chiller for the laboratory area. DAIKIN\u2019s efforts for a Net Zero Energy Building (ZEB) <\/h3>\n<p class=\"case-Text\">TIC aims for ZEB, and 70% energy saving was achieved in 2015 by using various Daikin technologies.<br \/> 100% energy saving is to be achieved by 2020.<\/p>\n<div class=\"case-Img\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/glutenfreepleasure.com\/__proxy_domain\/www.daikin.com.sg\/wp-content\/themes\/daikin\/air\/daikin_achievements\/case_study\/tic\/images\/pic_02.png\" width=\"700\" height=\"398\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<h4 class=\"case-Heading4\">1) High efficiency <span class=\"brand-italic\">VRV<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"case-Text\">Sensible heat and latent heat are controlled separately with the combination of High efficiency <span class=\"brand-italic\">VRV<\/span> and DESICA. This enhances interior thermal comfort by individually controlling temperature and humidity. Drastic energy saving is realized by reducing wasteful energy use such as excessive cooling or heating. <\/p>\n<h4 class=\"case-Heading4\">2) Natural energy<\/h4>\n<p class=\"case-Text\"> Water cooled <span class=\"brand-italic\">VRV<\/span> which is an under developing prototype is utilized for the entrance hall of TIC. This equipment achieves big energy saving thanks to the use of natural energy;<br \/> &#8211; Utilization of geothermal heat for cooling \/ heating water<br \/> &#8211; Collection \/ release of heat via solar heat collection \/ release panel <\/p>\n<div class=\"case-Img\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/glutenfreepleasure.com\/__proxy_domain\/www.daikin.com.sg\/wp-content\/themes\/daikin\/air\/daikin_achievements\/case_study\/tic\/images\/pic_03.png\" width=\"437\" height=\"230\" alt=\"\"><\/div>\n<h4 class=\"case-Heading4\">3) Solar power<\/h4>\n<p class=\"case-Text\"> Solar panel with solar tracking system is adopted to TIC. Comfort and energy saving performance are evaluated by many sensors attached to the building. Optimum air conditioning products for office and laboratory<\/h3>\n<p class=\"case-Text\">At TIC, 2 types of applications (Office and laboratory) are integrated in one building. For this reason, optimum A\/C products and control for each application are needed.<br \/> In the office area, the number of people differs substantially in accordance with the situation. Additionally the heat load varies greatly due to many glass windows. That\u2019s why <span class=\"brand-italic\">VRV<\/span>, which can cope with different heat load of the space, are adopted.<\/p>\n<p> There are large space and many rooms in the laboratory area. Module type heat pump chiller and centrifugal chiller are adopted for the laboratory area. They are utilized for the air conditioning system and also providing cool water for experiment use. <span class=\"brand-italic\">VRV<\/span> is also adopted for the laboratory area and supports air conditioning.
