Understanding Net Worth in digiWealth

The Net Worth feature in digiWealth is designed to give you a snapshot of your overall holdings to aid holistic financial planning.

Important information

  • It is calculated as such: Net Worth = Total Assets – Total Liabilities
  • This allows you to understand what you own versus what you owe, at a glance. However, do note the Net Worth figures are not meant to reflect a real-time balance and are dependent on your latest available synced data.
Note: Figures pulled from DBS accounts may have a 1-day time lag to be updated. Figures pulled externally from SGFinDex may take up to 30 days to reflect the latest synced data.
  • You can find the ‘Last synced’ date when your balances were most recently refreshed. If your figures look different than expected, they may not yet reflect your latest transactions.
Your total assets may include: Your total liabilities may include:
  • Cash balances in DBS/POSB accounts
  • CPF balances (if synced via SGFInDex)
  • SRS investments
  • Cash investments and insurance policies (where applicable)
  • Housing loans
  • Study loans
  • Car loans
  • Credit card outstanding balances
  • Other linked liabilities

On occasion, you may see a negative Net Worth if your liabilities (e.g. a housing loan) exceed your current assets. What is captured and reflected are the assets currently synced to your account through SGFinDex; any assets not yet linked will be excluded.

For example, any owned property values are not automatically included under your assets, as this information is not available through SGFinDex. For more questions on what SGFinDex is able to pull, please refer to SGFinDex FAQs.

Within the Net Worth tab on digiWealth, you can review all external accounts synced via SGFinDex, along with their latest 'Updated on' dates.
