The PSG Grant was launched with the goal to provide support to small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) to stimulate the use of IT solutions like eCommerce web design, equipment, and advisory services. It was part of Singapore’s economic transformation strategy to position the nation as a significant player in technology, innovation, and enterprise. The Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) was created to support firms in their transformation journey.

The eCommerce PSG package assists businesses and organisations in using technological solutions and equipment to improve their operations. It addresses sector-specific solutions to assist organisations in a variety of industries, including food, engineering, logistics and retail. You may select from a variety of industry-specific digital solutions for your company.

The advantages of PSG in eCommerce

#1 Start your eCommerce business

If you’ve always wanted to start a dropshipping or eCommerce business, now’s the time! Through an eCommerce PSG package, you can hire an eCommerce website development freelancer or agency to help you with this process.

At the very least, you can get a consultation and find out more. After all, why not take advantage of the 70% claim from the Singaporean government?

#2 Submit applications for more than one PSG

If you are satisfied with the advantages of the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG), you may apply for another grant. However, this is only applicable if your company’s requirements are met. Furthermore, you may only provide financial assistance for one package per solution and location.

#3 Increase employee retention

Setting up an eCommerce store means less work and pressure for your employees. For example, say that you’re running a music school. Instead of asking your school manager to handle payments and student registration, the student can make registration himself on your “eCommerce website”. It’s not technically an eCommerce store, but it has the same functionality that you would need as a school lesson booking platform.

And if you’re worried about building such a large platform, fortunately the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) is available for many eCommerce website development companies to choose from in Singapore.
