Brass doorknobs require them to only be cleaned using warm and soapy water. The doorknob gets damaged when the brass plating gets removed due to the use of rough polishing or using abrasives when cleaning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To establish the make of the doorknob, place a magnet on its surface and observe if the magnet gets stuck to the doorknob. You do not have to stress up since the baking soda will absorb the smell.
