About Share-A-Textbook

Share-A-Textbook aims to make textbooks and educational resources accessible for all in Singapore by providing them for free, to help ease financial burdens for families amid rising expenses. This year, the initiative is jointly organised by FairPrice Group and National Trades Union Congress (NTUC).

Donate Your Textbooks
Drop textbooks and study materials at designated NTUC FairPrice Hypermarkets and Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre from 14–28 November.

Volunteer and Make a Difference
Join as a volunteer to sort donated books (26 November – 3 December) and help distribute them (4–5 December).

Collect And Reuse the Textbooks
Give preloved textbooks and study materials a second chance while promoting sustainability.

We welcome MOE-approved textbooks, assessment books, and supplementary learning materials that are still in good condition. Click here to find out more.

Please do not donate outdated syllabuses, damaged or heavily scribbled books, or used exercise books. This ensures that collected resources remain useful and relevant.

To ensure the safety of the public and volunteers, you are required to take a queue number on-site. In the event that the hall reaches maximum capacity for the hour, you will be directed to collect in the next hour.

To ensure fairness and allow more families to benefit, each person is encouraged to collect only what they need.

Uncollected textbooks will be sent to recycling centres to be processed in an environmentally sustainable way.

Please donate your used textbooks at the designated dropboxes by 28 November.

Collection of used textbooks and supplementary materials will be on a walk-in basis.
Please come during the collection hours and take a queue number on the day.

Thank you for supporting Share-A-Textbook 2026 and helping to reduce waste, reuse and expand the lifespan of our educational materials, and promote environmental sustainability among our students!
