Hello Rohaya! Tell us more about yourself:<\/h2>\n

I am a mother to three wonderful daughters age 23, 28 and 31 years old. Before working with Helpling, I was in the cleaning industry for over 20 years, hence cleaning is like second nature to me.<\/p>\n

What were you doing before working as a cleaner then?:<\/h2>\n

I was a childcare teacher actually. However as I was getting older and the school required me to upgrade my skills. This meant that I would have to go back to school and not be able to earn any income while studying. However, I needed to support my kids and had to find another job.<\/p>\n

What do you do during your free time?<\/h2>\n

I enjoy cleaning, as it give me time to think and reflect. Hence, during my free time, I will also clean up my house when my children are at work. We spend a lot of family time together and one of my favourite things to do with them is to travel and discover new countries together.<\/p>\n

Why did you choose to work with Helpling?<\/h2>\n

I chanced upon the advertisement on the newspaper and I was looking for another cleaning job since I was only getting maid $25\/house, which was very little. I decided to do a research on Helpling and was happy with the idea of choosing my own customers and decide on my own work schedule. I had bad experiences in my previous cleaning jobs as I felt that I was being disrespected by my customers. <\/span><\/p>\n

Describe your best experience at Helpling:<\/h2>\n

It has to be during my first job at Helpling where I was assigned to this really nice couple. The couple noticed that I was a little tired and they offered me some water and told me to take a couple minutes of rest before starting the job. As this was my first job, it was definitely a memorable experience for me. These customers have become my recurring customers and are the reason why I look forward to my job everyday!<\/span><\/p>\n

What did your family say when you decided to join Helpling? Did they support? Did they object? and Why?:<\/h2>\n

They are very supportive of my decision to work with Helpling as they have noticed that I have become much happier working here as compared to my previous housekeeping company. They would like for me me to be constantly on the move as I am getting old, so cleaning allows me to be more agile and alert.<\/p>\n

What are your best cleaning tips you can share with us?:<\/h2>\n

Always keep your eyes on the clock. Clean the house in a systematic manner, leaving the toilet to the last. However, a great tip would be to spray detergent or pour bleach on the dirty spots and leave it there for at least 2 hours, it will make cleaning the toilet faster and smell good!<\/p>\n
