Incisions are made along the inside of the lower eyelid. The fat pads are identified and carefully removed. Bleeding is meticulously controlled and the wounds are closed with internal sutures that do not need to be removed.<\/p>      <\/div>\n\n    \n      \n      <div class=\"e234-11 x-tabs-panel  \" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"tab-234-11\" aria-hidden=\"true\" data-x-toggleable=\"tab-item-234-11\" id=\"panel-234-11\" >\n        <p>Postoperative pain is mild and well controlled with oral painkillers. There will be mild swelling and bruising. No stitch removal is required. You can start wearing eye makeup after one week and this can effectively camouflage the residual swelling and bruising so that you don&rsquo;t need to wear sunglasses to conceal your eyes anymore. So the effective downtime is about one week.
