Ultraformer MPT is a High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) device for non-invasive skin tightening and lifting as well as fat reduction. It is most commonly used to address skin laxity of the face and neck, and excess fat under the chin. MPT stands for Micro Pulsed Technology, an advanced feature which enables improved performance compared to previous HIFU technology.<\/p>\n

In conventional HIFU treatment, as well as in the normal mode of energy delivery of the Ultraformer MPT device, each shot of ultrasound energy is delivered in a linear pattern of 17 closely spaced individual dots. While this is generally effective, it is an imperfect mode of energy delivery as there are gaps between each dot where no energy is delivered. Furthermore, the energy does not reach the deepest collagen fibers under the skin which become loose with aging. <\/p>\n

In contrast to the normal mode of ultrasound energy delivery, the Micro Pulse (MP) mode produces 417 micropulses of energy which are delivered in a continuous line with no gaps between dots. So there are no gaps where no energy is delivered. Furthermore, the energy goes deeper to reach the deepest collagen fibers, and the energy also flows sideways once it has gone deep. All of these factors result in more complete, deeper and more volumetric energy delivery in the treatment zone, leading to better skin tightening.<\/p>\n

Although more energy is being delivered, it is delivered more gently, so the already mild pain of the Ultraformer normal mode becomes even milder in MP mode.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the MP mode can be used to selectively break down unwanted subcutaneous fat in problem areas such as the double chin and the jowls of the lower face.<\/p>\n

Finally, the Ultraformer MPT is able to deliver its ultrasound energy faster, leading to reduced treatment time.<\/p>\n

In summary, the Ultraformer MPT HIFU treatment offers multiple improvements upon current HIFU technology, leading to multiple benefits for the patient.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n
