Clin Asst Prof Julian Kenrick Loh is a Senior Consultant with the Department of Cardiology and Director of the Coronary Care Unit at the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS).
His clinical interest is in Heart Failure and Echocardiography. He was awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan (2023) to pursue Fellowship training at the Royal Papworth Hospital, Cambridge, United Kingdom in Advanced Heart Failure, Critical Care Cardiology, Left Ventricular Assist Device and Heart Transplant.
Clin Asst Prof Loh is deeply commited to clinical education and is the Programme Director for the Cardiology Senior Residency. He was previously the SingHealth Internal Medicine Associate Program Director chairing the Admissions Committee and Programme Evaluation Committee. He currently remains Core Faculty with Internal Medicine and physician faculty with surgery-in-general residencies and also teaches in the local medical schools and polytechnics.
He is also actively involved in clinical research and is a national principle investigator for industry sponsored international multicenter randomised controlled trials. In addition to presenting his research at regional and international scientific meetings, he has also published his original research in international peer-reviewed journals.
