The pandemic that followed pointed him sharply towards the invisible, the unseen that nonetheless marked us deeply. Amidst the uncertain period of global lockdowns, accelerated technological adoption and mass mRNA vaccinations, Widjaja contemplated notions of invisibility and impalpable intensities. He worked with the cosmic ray particles muons as material, and his research culminated in <em>Path. 11, Blindness\u00a0<\/em>(2022) and\u00a0<em>Path. 12, River Origin\u00a0<\/em>\u6d6a\u6dd8\u6c99<em>\u00a0<\/em>(2021).<\/p>\n<p>The interdisciplinary projects explore embodied languages, and the human dimensions that lie beyond bio-technological visions. Widjaja developed new photographic processes for <em>Blindness<\/em>. The images were described by renowned muography scientist Professor Hiroyuki Tanaka, University of Tokyo, as the world&#8217;s first fine-art muography that he has seen, and were presented by Widjaja at the scientific forum, Muographers General Assembly 2022.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>About Boedi Widjaja<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Boedi Widjaja&#8217;s (b. 1975, Indonesia\/Singapore) practice contemplates on house, home and homeland through long-running, interdisciplinary series developed in parallel. His approach is often autobiographical and oblique. He works across diverse media, from experimental photography and architectural installations to bio art and live art, with an emphasis on process and bodily engagement. Widjaja was trained in architecture and has worked in graphic design.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About Exactly Foundation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.exactlyfoundation.com\/\"><strong>Exactly Foundation<\/strong><\/a> is a not-for-profit, trademarked registered label established by Li Li Chung to commission photographers to create works that stimulate discussion of social concerns in Singapore.
