\n$50<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>About<\/h2>\n<\/div>The Rasaboxes Technique is a physical practice that integrates the ancient theory of rasa, (first identified in the Natyasastra) with contemporary emotion research and performance theory invented by Richard Schechner. Using rasaboxes in its advanced forms, artists can explore plays, compose scenes, create choreographies or music, and invent entire performances. Through a series of exercises, actors are able to achieve emotional credibility like never before and apply it in their rehearsal and performance work.<\/p>\n
The workshop accommodates individuals with a wide range of skill levels and interests: actors, directors, dancers, choreographers, musicians, performance artists, playwrights, therapists and beyond.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

This workshop will be taught by Liz Kirkman, trained in the Rasaboxes technique under the mentorship of Barbara Woods.<\/p>\n
Liz is trained at Playhouse Theatre in New York and has taught Rasaboxes at the National Youth Drama School, as well as on the UCOL Diploma in Performing Arts programme.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
