To celebrate this milestone, Rice Ball \u201910, our annual Fundraising Gala, organised in association with PRESTIGE Magazine, took place on Friday, 1st October at the Island Ballroom, Shangri-La Hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Rice Ball is today, one of the most fabulous, fun and talked about fundraisers on the Singapore social calendar, where Singapore\u2019s great and good come together to provide a critical financial lifeline to the company, a registered charity. With the National Arts Council Major Grant funding amounting to less than 4% of the company\u2019s operating costs, proceeds from the evening\u2019s festivities will go directly towards supporting the company\u2019s artistic and educational programming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The theme for 2010 was THE RED HOT CHILLI PADI BALL, and it was an unforgettable evening of good company, a sumptuous feast by the chefs of Shangri-La Hotel, and, as ever, a fabulous show starring the best of Singapore theatre, The dress code was \u201cRed, Hot and Spicy\u201d, setting the tone for a truly exciting event.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
