It&#8217;s a method that trains a group of actors to generate dynamic and visceral movement for the stage by becoming more aware of their senses and bodies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/glutenfreepleasure.com\/__proxy_domain\/www.wildrice.com.sg\/newsletter\/NL20\/07B.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption>There&#8217;s always room to learn something new \u2013 Serena joined the class herself!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI find the Viewpoints Method very useful for actors and theatre-makers,\u201d explained Serena Ho, co-director of young &amp; W!LD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She engaged Mark&#8217;s services because of his extensive skill and experience in teaching physical theatre across the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI have known Mark for about four years now,\u201d Serena said. \u201cI have always respected him as an artist and teacher. He is a very passionate and inspiring person.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/glutenfreepleasure.com\/__proxy_domain\/www.wildrice.com.sg\/newsletter\/NL20\/07C.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption>Mark in conference with our young &amp; W!LD participants<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Our young &amp; W!LD ensemble participated enthusiastically into the workshop, learning more about themselves and their craft along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMark was brilliant in showing us the importance of awareness: awareness of body, space and our fellow actors,\u201d Perry Shen pointed out after the workshop. \u201cWithout awareness, an actor can never hope to be anything more than a loud and egotistical sore thumb onstage!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI learned to trust more in my instincts,\u201d Faith Sim added. \u201cThe Viewpoints workshop gave us a vocabulary for us to communicate with as actors and theatre-makers.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the theatre, there are always opportunities to find another point of view.
