Graduation Photoshoots for University, Polytechnic and K2 Graduates

Is it worth getting graduation photos?

Absolutely! Graduation photos commemorate a significant achievement and a pivotal life moment. They serve as a lasting reminder of your hard work and a cherished keepsake for you and your family to look back on for years to come.

What do I wear to a graduation photoshoot?

Your graduation gown and cap are essential for key shots. Underneath, opt for smart, comfortable attire that reflects your personality – perhaps a dress, a suit, or a smart-casual outfit.

Will graduation gowns be provided?

Yes. However, please be reminded that graduation gowns and hats are only available upon 1 week’s advance request. (Gowns are NOT stored in the studio.)

We do not have “all the gowns from all schools”. They are plain black graduation gowns. Not from any specific schools.

How many settings will there be?

There will be 3 or more different settings for each Graduation Photo Session. See here for the pictures we can achieve in one session!

Where can I take graduation photos in Singapore?

All graduation photoshoot sessions are taken in Oh Dear Studio’s space. If you have a different location in mind, please let us know so we can assist you.

What is the best time of day to take graduation photos?

For outdoor shoots, the “golden hours” – shortly after sunrise or before sunset – offer soft, flattering light. This helps avoid harsh shadows and squinting. If shooting in a studio, timing is flexible as lighting is controlled, allowing for any time that suits your schedule.

What should I prepare for the graduation photoshoot?

If you wish to use your own graduation gown and cap, ensure they are pressed and ready. Plan your outfit underneath and any desired props like your degree scroll, class ring, or items related to your course. Get a good night’s sleep, and come with any hair and makeup ideas you have.

At Oh Dear Studio, our graduation photoshoot packages cost S$480 nett for Lite and S$780 nett for Premium. Both accommodate up to four participants, with each additional person charged S$30.

How long does a graduation photoshoot take?

Our Lite package includes a 30-minute studio session, while Premium offers a full hour for more poses, photography settings and group combinations.

Will I receive all the photos taken?

Yes! Both packages include all digital soft copies taken during your session at 5R resolution. Expect approximately 40 or more images with Lite and 80 or more with Premium, professionally colour-corrected with our signature warm tones.

Can my whole family join?

Absolutely! Parents, siblings, grandparents and extended family members are welcome. Both packages cover up to four participants, with additional family members charged S$30 per person. Let us know your group size when booking.

Can I bring my pet?

Yes! We’re a pet-friendly photography studio, so your furry companions can join your graduation photoshoot. Pets count towards the number of participants included in your package.

Do you offer K2 graduation photoshoots?

Yes! Our K2 graduation photoshoots include complimentary use of a kindergarten graduation gown. We photograph young graduates individually and with their parents and siblings.
