This concept was downloaded by the Lord to the founder, taken from Revelation 21:2, “Prepare as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband,”. It has been integrated into our funeral wakes to symbolize the idea of our departed loved ones being welcomed back into the beautiful heavens by our Lord Jesus.

Passion Bereavement Care has pioneered this unique concept designed to bring comfort to bereaved families. This innovative approach marks the first introduction of its kind in Singapore’s funeral industry. Beyond enhancing Christian funerals, it aims to provide a transformative experience that deepens understanding and appreciation of Christian beliefs.

By maintaining a dignified appearance, this concept transforms the entire wake into a beautiful, elegant, and comforting atmosphere reminiscent of a wedding banquet—a fitting final ceremony in the presence of our Lord Jesus.

In recent years, this unique bridal concept has brought solace to many bereaved families.

Deborah ensured my dad’s final journey was not corrupted by any practices that are not of God and not Biblical. The team came and was professional from the start. Infact prior to dad’s passing, Deborah, the Funeral Director was already answering the questions we had even though we have not committed to using her service. Despite Deborah’s tight schedule on that day when we activated her, she still took time out to cater to my request of walking the final journey with my dad to the embalming place. The wake was put up so beautifully that it felt like “secret garden”. Dad was an avid gardener and loved his garden at home and so the theme suited dad completely. The entire theme according to our guests felt  serene and beautiful. Daily the staff would clean up the toilets, spray the wreaths and ensure all areas or items are in order. They knew exactly what needed to be done especially the service night. Very proactive, professional and caring team. Deborah also led our family into a time of “sermon” when dad arrived at the wake venue and mom was crying badly. She read verses from Revelation and reminded us of God’s promises in the bible and calmed my mom down. After the cremation, Deborah guided me to give thanks to a group of important friends & family members. Her guidance was so important to a grieving person who was struggling and lost. Even our pastor was impressed with her level of commitment and dedication to ensuring everything goes smoothly. Price was competitive and transparent thus no surprises. I would strongly recommend Passion to anyone who needs this service.

My family is greatly comforted by their authentic and genuine service. The wake area is beautifully designed and a guest said, “it’s like paradise already”.   Soothing Christian music is played throughout the day, even in the toilet that is also well decorated.  The environment created by them was indeed comforting for my family.
