Samsung Electronics has revealed its largest consumer television yet, the 130-inch Micro RGB TV (R95H), at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, marking a new milestone in ultra-premium display technology. The massive screen pairs Samsung’s most advanced Micro RGB innovations with a bold “Timeless Frame” design that positions the TV as both a visual centrepiece and a statement of engineering prowess in the living room.

At the heart of the 130-inch model is Micro RGB technology, an evolution of traditional LED-backlit LCD panels that uses arrays of microscopic red, green and blue LEDs for unprecedented colour precision and vibrancy. The display achieves 100 % BT.2020 wide-colour gamut, a benchmark for cinema-grade colour fidelity, and is certified for exacting colour reproduction. Powered by Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, Micro RGB Colour Booster Pro and Micro RGB HDR Pro, the TV processes images with enhanced contrast and detail, delivering lifelike realism across both bright and dark scenes.

But as with all new TV launches, it’s often what's inside that will make a difference to the consumer. Samsung’s 130-inch Micro RGB TV also serves as the flagship showcase for the company’s 2026 visual display innovations, introducing several new features that extend beyond raw panel performance. Some of these features should trickle down into other new TVs Samsung launches this year.

Samsung is deeply committed to making AI an integral part of the user experience. Today, a significant proportion of our product portfolio in Singapore carry AI features built for mobile, home appliances and home entertainment products - Galaxy AI, Bespoke AI and Vision AI respectively. The depth and breadth of our line-up demonstrate clear benefits to users - devices that are more intuitive, anticipatory of needs, and even help users save on their energy bills. 2026 will be an even more exciting year as we ready more AI-powered devices and experiences for users to get more out of their Samsung products.”
Jeffrey Hahn, President, Samsung Electronics Singapore

At the core is the Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, a new processing platform designed specifically for Micro RGB displays. Unlike conventional Mini-LED systems, the micro-sized red, green and blue light sources are controlled independently at a much finer level, allowing the AI engine to precisely manage colour intensity, tonal transitions and contrast on a scene-by-scene basis. Samsung says this enables more natural colour reproduction and overwhelmingly vivid imagery, particularly on ultra-large screens where inconsistencies are more noticeable.

The TV also debuts Samsung’s Vision AI Companion, which expands the role of the television beyond passive viewing. Vision AI Companion works contextually, offering guidance on what to watch, adjusting picture and sound automatically based on content, and even responding to lifestyle prompts such as mood or time of day. This positions the Micro RGB TV as an “entertainment companion” rather than a conventional display.

For sports and live content, the 130-inch Micro RGB TV supports AI Soccer Mode Pro, which dynamically tunes picture clarity and sound to replicate a stadium-like experience. Viewers can also use AI Sound Controller Pro to independently adjust crowd noise, commentary and background audio, offering a more personalised sound mix depending on preference.

Samsung’s proprietary Glare Free technology helps to reduce reflections, preserving contrast and colour clarity in real-world lighting conditions.

Rounding out the feature set is support for HDR10+ Advanced, launching first on Samsung’s 2026 TV lineup, alongside Eclipsa Audio, Samsung’s new spatial audio system designed to enhance immersion on large-format displays. The TV runs Samsung’s most advanced Tizen OS, with a commitment to seven years of OS upgrades, underscoring its long-term positioning as a flagship product.

Where the 130-inch Micro RGB TV stands apart is not just its sheer scale, but its Timeless Frame design. Inspired by architectural windows, the TV’s refined border and minimalist aesthetic allow the display to feel more like a panoramic vista than a traditional television, intended to visually expand the room rather than dominate it. This approach underscores Samsung’s push to treat the TV as an artistic fixture as much as an entertainment centrepiece.

This flagship display is aimed squarely at enthusiasts of ultra-large screens and flagship performance, including homeowners with spacious living or media rooms who want a cinematic experience without stepping up to separate projector setups. Its combination of next-generation colour fidelity, impressive brightness, glare-reducing design and AI-enhanced features makes it especially appealing for sports fans, movie buffs and anyone seeking a premium in-home theatre setup. The scale and price of the 130-inch model suggest it will remain a high-end, showpiece offering, with Samsung’s broader Micro RGB lineup, spanning smaller sizes down to 55-inch, catering to more mainstream premium buyers.

Samsung will showcase the 130-inch Micro RGB TV throughout CES 2026, with wider global availability expected later in 2026. We will update you with pricing and availability when we receive more information.
