Dr. Dinesh graduated from Monash University, Melbourne in 2009 with honours, winning the Prince Henry’s Prize in Surgery in his final year. He completed his endocrinology training in Melbourne, winning the top prize at the Endocrine Society of Australia Clinical weekend in 2016 and was fortunate to win a place in the only Andrology fellowship in Australia in 2017.
He returned to Singapore afterwards and was the clinical lead in adrenal, pituitary & bone disorders and, started the metabolic bone clinic at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. His passion is in education (for both patients and doctors) and he was the Associate Programme Director for Endocrinology at National Health Group (NHG). He won the NHG Teaching award for Senior doctors in 2023.
His clinical passion is in longevity and metabolic health and in-line with this outside of work, he doesn’t miss a day without a workout!
He has completed a solo HYROX competition and run multiple marathons and is attempting to learn Tennis, though without much success. He’s also a dad to a spirited 9 year-old who he claims challenges him more than work and fitness put together.
