Can I rent your studio space for soap making?

Certainly! Our Maker Space is open for bookings through DIY workshop sessions, and can accommodate up to 4 pax.

To enjoy unlimited bookings* to our Maker Space, you may consider purchasing an All Access Pass.

*Subject to operating hours and availability of slots.

Question 2

Are soap making materials and equipment provided in the All Access Pass?

Accepted Answer

Yes, our Maker Space is equipped with a wide range of soap making equipment, including:

Stainless steel bowls (ranging from 1kg to 10kg)
Blender
Weighing scales
Measuring spoons
Whisks
Silicone spatulas
Loaf molds

Please note that in an effort to minimise single-use waste, we do not offer complimentary use of disposable gloves. We kindly request that you bring your own gloves. Disposable gloves can be purchased at $0.50 per pair.  Additionally, we do not offer complimentary use of soap making ingredients. You may bring your own ingredients or purchase them within our Maker Space.

For safety reasons in compliance with lye regulations in Singapore, please be aware that all lye used within our Maker Space must be purchased from Sugar & Spice. Personal lye is not allowed to enter our premises. Similarly, lye purchased from our studio cannot be brought outside of our premises either. We reserve the rights to decline entry for any inappropriate use of lye within our studio. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Question 4

What is your cancellation policy, and are there any penalties for not showing up to a reserved time slot?

Accepted Answer

If you are unable to attend your scheduled DIY workshop session and wish to reschedule for a later date, kindly notify us at least 48 hours in advance or cancel online by login your account through our website.

Repeated late cancellations or no-shows (2 times or more) will lead to a 1-month booking freeze. During this period, bookings can only be made via email at info@sugarandspice.com.sg and you will be placed on a waitlist.

Can I bring a guest to DIY workshop sessions?

Accepted Answer

Guests are permitted under special circumstances, provided that an email request for approval is submitted to info@sugarandspice.com.sg at least 48 hours in advance. This applies to the following situations:

Children under the age of 13
Individuals who require assistance with soap making

What does “unlimited studio access” under the All Access Pass mean?

Accepted Answer

This means that you have the flexibility to book as many individual and consecutive DIY workshop sessions as needed. Kindly note that slots are subjected to operating hours and availability, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Our slots open 4-6 weeks in advance. To secure your preferred time slots, we recommend booking early!

Can I transfer or share my All Access Pass with someone else?

Accepted Answer

The All Access Pass is non-transferable and exclusive to individual use. If you'd like to bring a friend along, you can refer them for their own All Access Pass, and both of you can enjoy the referral perk of $10 discount on in-studio lye purchase.

Question 8

How do I renew my All Access Pass?

Accepted Answer

Renew your All Access Plan and receive 15% of your pass value as bonus studio credit.  This credit will be added directly to your membership account and can be used toward ingredient payments in the studio. It’s our way of thanking you for continuing your creative journey with us.

In situations where plan extensions are necessary due to medical reasons, we consider each case individually. Please do not hesitate to contact us at info@sugarandspice.com.sg if you require an extension for medical reasons.

Not at all! The 15% off renewal promo sent has no expiration date so you can take breaks in between each subscription.
