Notary Public – what to expect

Bring your original documents to your booked appointment at 135 Middle Road, #05-11 Bylands Building, Singapore 188975. Payment is made at our office.
A physical (hardcopy) apostille is issued by the Singapore Academy of Law (SAL). Collect your notarised documents from our office first, then collect the apostille yourself from SAL — it is already paid for as part of your fee.

An e-Apostille is issued digitally instead, so there is nothing to collect: you send it directly to your end recipient. Please confirm that your overseas recipient accepts an e-Apostille before choosing it.

For digitally verifiable documents (for example an ACRA Business Profile, ACRA Certificate of Incorporation, or SingPass-verified documents) you may not need to come to our office. Book a slot above to submit your request, email your documents to info@law.com.sg, and choose your preferred identity verification method. We will process your request and contact you about payment. This “may not need to attend” note applies only to digitally verifiable certified true copies (for example certain ACRA or SingPass-verified files), after we confirm. Witnessing of signatures always requires the signer’s in-person attendance at our office, or an in-Singapore outcall — remote / Zoom / video witnessing is not available. For rules on wet-ink attestation and what to bring, see our Notary Public Witnessing and Attestation FAQ.
