Oh Dear Studio is housed in a conserved shophouse, unfortunately we do not have lift up. We did have clients who carried their wheelchair-bound grandmother up the stairs.
Yes of course! Our Singapore studio is fitted with one private changing area and one ensuite washroom.
Definitely. There are ample of public car parking at Spooner Road carpark and along Blair Road.
Our studio is equipped with air-conditioning that we can control. We usually set the studio interior temperature to a comfortable 24 degree. Babies should be in comfortable cotton rompers.
We have all the props needed for family photoshoot in our studio but of course you are free to bring in any personalised props of your choice. 
Yes, our studio has many different photography setting best suited for family photoshoots. You do not have to choose anything in advance. We will have a chat when you are in the studio on your preferences.
Yes we are open Monday to Sunday. Do note advance booking and reservation is required. We are not in unless there’s shoots/ appointments.
Our studio is a open concept shophouse, family members who are not being photographed are welcome to take a seat at any of our comfortable armchairs.
No. Due to limited space, our studio is exclusively for photoshoot only. If you are having professional Hair & makeup by our studio, our artist will do a house call. Makeup will be at your place before the shoot.
Yes, mothers are welcome to nurse baby in the private changing area. We have daybeds and armchairs that double up as diaper-changing beds. Do bring your own changing mat.
Yes of course you are welcome to play your own music bring session.
15 minutes earlier. Studio will be open for you 15 mins before your appointment timing.
We do cater some extra timing between each session. However if you are over 30 mins late, due to other appointments after yours, we might request to postpone your session to another day.
Yes of course. Filming on your own phone for personal behind-the-scene usage is not a problem,
🐾 Pet Photoshoots (Dogs, Cats, & Small Animals)
Some photo studios in Singapore (due to personal or any other reasons) strictly do not allow pets or animals. Please do check individually with the photography studio. Oh Dear Studio is a pet-friendly photography studio. We LOVE and welcome pets and animals of all sizes.
Prepare some of your pet’s favourite treats, bring a hair brush for your pet helps as well.
For aggressive dogs, we usually avoid direct eye contact, keep voice low and steady, and keeping our motions slow and calm. For highly anxious dogs, we have to stay calm, avoid loud sudden movements. We will also avoid using direct studio flash lights.
Yes of course! Newborn & Pet photography are very popular in our studio. 
We will do a quick mop between each pet sessions. If there are any potty accident, we will sanitise the floor area.
We clean it up, simple as that. We will also sanitise the floor area. No worries!
Yes of course! We are a pet-friendly photography studio, we love and welcome pets and animals of all sizes!
No, we do not provide any outfits.
Yes! Our props and photography settings are all designed with families and pets in mind.
Some of the tricks we uses include, cat treats as bribes, or waving a cat teaser to get their attention. Or the owner might be behind photographer to attract cat’s attention.

Yes! Our pets are part of the family, they are MORE than welcome to join in any photoshoots. 
Yes, that would ensure your doggy looking his best. Suggest sending dog for a professional grooming one or two days before the shoot.
Approximately half an hour to one hour. Any duration longer than that will tired out your dog, he might start to get over-overstimulated!
We do not stock treats in studio because of diet-restriction of a-lot of pets. As toys are personal item (dogs chew on them!), we do not provide dog toys. Do feel free to bring in your own treats and/toys.
Yes! Studio space are reserved exclusively for you and your family during your session. There will not be other outsiders present during your photoshoot with us.
Extended & Multigenerational Family Shoots FAQ
Keeping it simple is the best way to coordinate outfits for a 15 person Family photoshoot. Narrow down to 2 or 3 basic colours, have everyone dress accordingly to it.
For example: Smart casual. White, beige and Navy Blue.
Or Peach Pink, beige and white. Or Demin jeans with white or grey tops.
We usually shoot eldery grandparents first, followed by the whole extended family. Thereafter, they can rest (we have plenty of comfortable armchairs in the studio) while finishing up with individual family pictures or any other picture combinations.
Yes! Our sessions are inclusive of unlimited combinations. Eg couple, solo, individual family, cousins etc. We will be directing you during the shoot, and you can let us know of any combination ahead as well.

It really depends on the amount of people you have. Our studio is a spacious 600 sqft and can comfortably accommodate up to 15 Pax.
We take into consideration eldery’s mobility ability, everyone’s preferences as well as attention span. Grandparents are typically seated, with young children on their laps, the adults standing behind.
Yes of course you can include your helper in your family photoshoot. They are family too!
By guiding and directing them exactly where to sit, how to stand and where to put their hands, to smile or not. By letting them know exactly where they should be seated or standing, we eliminate self-doubt and any awkwardness.
Indoor studio is much more recommended for a large extended family. Due to the large age range between grandparents and young children, as well as the difficulties of herding a large group around outdoors, an indoor studio shoot is much more recommended. Not to mention, the studio is equipped with Air-conditioning, plenty of comfortable chairs and washroom.
Yes of course. Do note, our studio have NO lift access. We are on level 2 of a conserved shophouse, accessed via staircase only.
Recommend you to book one month in advance for your preferred day and timing. Booking earlier in advance ensure you are able to reserve your preferred slot.

Yes, our packages are inclusive of returning you ALL digital soft copies shot during your session.
We usually snap as much as 10 to 15 images per pose, and if anyone’s eyes are close, there’s nothing a bit of photoshop magic can’t save.
Toddlers, Babies, & Newborns Photoshoot FAQ
Morning is typically the best timing to catch a toddler in a good mood. Avoid nap times and evenings as toddlers are generally lower on energy towards the end of the day.
We will take a break from photographing the toddler and offer some play time (our studio has rocking horse, trains, teddy bears as well as a working piano) to calm toddler down. Snacks are also always a good idea!
Comfortable cotton wears are highly recommended. Keep colours neutral – pastel pink, light blue, beige or soft grey. Avoid restrictive and tight outfits.
Yes, we provide natural cotton bamboo swaddles as well as baby baskets.
A newborn is a baby under one month old. A Baby milestone shoot is where baby has achieved certain milestone such as sitting (6months old), crawling (8months old onwards) or even walking (11months old onwards)
We don’t expect a 2-year-old toddler to sit still, they are made to run, explore and play! And we do all that during our photoshoot, playing and engaging a toddler, crafting natural candid images!
Yes of course you can bring your child’s favourite toys or snacks to the studio
Smart casual attire. Linen or Cotton dresses, white shirt with denim are recommended.
We do not use direct flash light on a newborn baby. We photograph mostly with natural sun light for that soft warm glow. Natural sunlight is safe for babies’ eyes.
We typically switch off one A.C, leaving only one A.C running. During newborn swaddle shoots, internal room temperate are usually kept at around 25 – 26degree.
Baby cries are usually because they unmet needs. They might be hungry, seeking comfort, or they are sleepy. We will pause the shoot to soothe baby. If baby is really unwell and cries throughout the session, we will advise to reschedule the session.
Yes of course twins are more than welcome!
We wash and sun dry the baby swaddles after every session.
Feed baby BEFORE travelling out to the studio please. A hungry baby is an angry baby. Please do not let baby go hungry!

Our style is timeless and classic. We do not follow trends because we believe trends typically do not age well.
Smart casual outfits, or comfortable lounge wears work very nicely for Couple Casual Portrait sessions.
We do not provide any outfits. Outfits (gowns, suits, ties etc) are bring your own.
Our style emphasis greatly on natural. While we do pose Couples, it more of correcting body postures. For couples who feel awkward, we find guiding them on exactly what to do and where to look helps greatly.
Yes of course, there will be a mixture of formal, natural, candid and casual looks within your couple photoshoot.
Depending on the package you choose, photoshoot duration would be 30mins to one hour.
Yes of course! We have couple celebrating their first year anniversary all the way to eldery couple celebrating their 50th year wedding anniversary!
Our style emphasis on timeless and classic. We keep props to a minimum (we do not use any props in fact), we focus on real emotion, interactions as well as natural expressions.

Come in your first outfit and you can bring along a second set to change into in the studio.
Coordinate outfit colours for a more polished and complete look. We suggest picking one natural colour and two other colours.
Here are some suggestion: White + Beige + Pink or White + Navy Blue + Red or Black + Pink + Brown
Solid colours work much better for photography. Bright patterns are distracting and tends to draw views’ eyes away from the main subject.
Footwear are strictly required in the studio. No barefoot please.

Covered comfortable footwear, eg loafers, pumps, comfortable flats, leather shoes etc.
Neutral colours are classic and easy to pair. White or black are recommended.

Yes! Our studio has seasonal settings such as Chinese New Year and Christmas. Each setting is exclusive to one year, settings are never repeated!

No, RAW unedited photographs are unfinished work, not representative of our actual style and work. As such, we strictly do not return RAW files.
Basic processing is there are colour correction, contrast, cropping applied to the image. It’s an overall adjustment.
High-end Retouching is we fine-tune the entire image, including removing any distractions from the picture, touching up on the humans (eg removing of blemishes, stray hair, slimming, smoothening of skin etc). Retouching takes anywhere from 30mins to 1hour per image.
Basic processing takes one week. High-end retouching takes another additional week.
Oh Dear Studio does not charge any extra fee for weekends or public holidays. We do not believe in such hidden cost.
No, we operate strictly on being open and transparent. All our pricings are stated clearly on our website and ratecard. We do not have any hidden cost.
Yes we do provide canvas and prints. Do note these are additional purchase, not inclusive in your photography packages.
A download link (of all your digital soft copies) will be sent to you within 7 days after your shoot.

Under Singapore’s Copyright Act 2021, the photographer owns the copyright to the photos by default, even if the photo session was commissioned and paid for by a client.
We do value the privacy of all clients, simply let us know if you would like your pictures to be private.

It is important for you to save and store your photographs securely in your own storage.
We achieve all closed projects for up to a year. Typically, we also try to achieve projects for as long as we can, should you lose your digital images, please check back with us.
Choosing a professional specialised family photographer will ensure all moments and smiles are captured, we will be guiding and directing you along the way, pictures will all be professionally processed. A self-photo studio, while fun, is never professional work.
