The automation segment saw the sharpest decline, falling 52.1% to $22.9m.

CSE Global recorded $146.1m in new orders for the third quarter ended 30 September 2025, marking a 21.7% year-on-year (YoY) decrease.

The group's total order book stood at $467.5m.

The communications segment was the only one to post a YoY increase in new orders, rising 24.2% to $75.2m.

In contrast, the electrification segment's new orders dropped 38.7% to $48m whilst the automation segment saw the sharpest decline, falling 52.1% to $22.9m.

The company noted that on a constant currency basis and excluding two major contracts worth $38.4m secured in Q3 2024, the group's order intake would have increased by 2.7% YoY.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
