ST Engineering bags $4.4b new contracts in Q1 2025

The contracts were awarded across three of its business segments.

ST Engineering secured approximately $4.4b in new contracts in Q1 2025 across three business segments.

The Commercial Aerospace segment secured $1.3b in contracts across its Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) and Aerostructures & Systems (A&S) sub-segments.

These include a three-year Boeing 787 service deal with an Asian airline, multi-year LEAP-1A engine maintenance contracts with Middle Eastern and Asian airlines, and orders for engine nacelles and composite floor panels.

The Defence & Public Security segment secured $2.7b in contracts, including a $200m deal with HTX for an islandwide public camera system. Its Digital Business, covering AI, Cloud, and Cyber, won contracts for a GPU data centre, AI-enabled command & control systems, and defence electronics.

The segment also secured new cyber product and ammunition orders, ship repair and maintenance contracts, an AI-enabled OT cybersecurity system, and cloud-based managed security services.

The Urban Solutions & Satcom segment won contracts worth $0.5b for rail electronics, Singapore car park projects, and the Downtown Line upgrade.

It also secured contracts for electronic road tolling, smart security management, and ground infrastructure in the aviation, maritime, government, and defence sectors.

These contracts are not expected to have a material impact on ST Engineering’s consolidated net tangible assets per share or earnings per share for FY2025.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
