ST Engineering unit bags platform screen door solution contract for Ontario rail line

Under the contract, the company will deliver 360 sets of full-height platform screen doors.

The Urban Solutions business of ST Engineering has secured a contract to provide its AGIL platform screen door (PSD) solution to the new 15.6-kilometre rapid transit line, Ontario Line, in Toronto, Canada.

Under the contract, ST Engineering will deliver 360 sets of full-height PSDs. Installation of the PSD will begin in 2028.

The contract with Ontario Line adds to ST Engineering’s global track record of over 200 rail projects in over 50 cities.

The Ontario Line is a transit project for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area, which will enable connectivity for commuters from Eglinton Avenue and Don Mills Road to Exhibition Place.

The line will see a daily ridership of about 388,000 passengers when completed.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
