The Asian Export Awards 2020 is now open for nominations

Nominations will close on 16 October 2020.

The search is on for the leading exporters in Asia as The Asian Export Awards is now officially accepting nominations from outstanding export companies with the most innovative products and services.

Now in its third year, the awards programme is back to recognise products and services of Asia’s leading exporters that have significantly enhanced the company’s business in the regional export scene.

Nomination is open to two divisions: large corporates for companies with group turnover over US$300m and local champions for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

Past winners for the large corporate division include Heinz ASEAN Pte. Ltd., Freedom Foods Group, Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company, Tru Blu Beverages Pty Ltd. Meanwhile, YanYan International (Phils.), Inc., Munchy's, and Kobe Electronics Material (Thailand) Co., Ltd. were lauded as local champions in the awards programme held last year.

"We are very pleased and honored to receive this award. This is basically based on the hard work of Munchy's employees, as well as our business partners," said Edward Chen, strategic and business development director at Munchy's. "This encouraged us to work harder to be the number one in all the key markets that we compete in."

To be eligible for the award, Asian exporters must earn foreign exchange and enter unique products, services and initiatives launched over the last 24 calendar months. Products and services that have been launched more than 24 calendar months ago can still be nominated, provided they have undergone recent innovations for improvement.

Nomination period is open until 16 October 2020. Winners will be honoured at the awarding ceremony on 26 November 2020.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
