MTI confirms 19.92 hectares for IGLS programme

The Ministry of Trade and Industry launched its Industrial Government Land Sales programme, which includes seven sites, for the second half of 2010.

Due to improved economic conditions, and to continue to meet demand for industrial land, MTI will replenish the supply of sites on the Reserve List. There will be three sites in the Confirmed List and seven sites in the Reserve List, with a total site area of 19.92 ha, an MTI report said on Tuesday.

The three sites in the Confirmed List are: Kaki Bukit, Yishun Street in Yishun Avenue and Old Toh Tuck Road/Toh Tuck Avenue.

For the second half of 2010, MTI introduces four new sites on the Reserve List at Woodlands Avenue 12 (Parcel 2), Tuas View Square, Kaki Bukit Road 4 and Ang Mo Kio Street 62. In addition, three sites from the first half of 2010 Reserve List will be carried forward to the second half of 2010.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
