Artisan 8 sells 11 homes and 5 shops amidst steady demand
Huttons Asia described the project’s pricing as “very hard to resist.”
Artisan 8 has sold 11 residential units and 5 commercial units, supported by strong market interest carried over from recent project launches.
“This is likely the last freehold project launch in the Rest of Central Region (RCR) for 2025,” said Huttons Asia CEO Mark Yip said.
He added that there are no other freehold projects expected in the RCR for 2026 or even 2027, unless a successful en bloc transaction occurs.
Yip described the project’s pricing as “very hard to resist,” with units starting from $2,100 per square foot (psf).
In comparison, resale projects such as JadeScape are averaging above $2,300 psf, whilst new 99-year leasehold projects and freehold/999-year developments are transacting at over $2,400 psf and $2,900 psf respectively.
Location advantages were also noted as key selling points. Artisan 8 is within 1km of popular schools Ai Tong Primary and Catholic High, and is situated approximately 300 metres from Upper Thomson MRT station.
