Frasers Property launches Climate and Nature Transition Plan

The plan outlines its strategy to address pressing global challenges related to climate change and biodiversity loss.

Frasers Property Limited has announced its inaugural Climate and Nature Transition Plan, marking a significant step in the company’s ongoing environmental, social, and governance efforts.

According to Frasers Property, the plan outlines its strategy to address pressing global challenges related to climate change and biodiversity loss. The company stated that it is taking a comprehensive approach, combining emissions reduction targets with initiatives to promote nature-positive outcomes across its business operations.

Frasers Property said that the plan aligns with international standards and frameworks, potentially including the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures and the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

The company also emphasised the importance of collaboration with stakeholders such as governments, customers, and industry partners to meet its sustainability goals.

The transition plan, according to Frasers Property, will be supported by transparent reporting practices to ensure accountability and track progress.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
