ThaiBev jumps with 11.5% YoY increase for 9 months FY21

The EBITDA reached a recorded $1.49b (Baht 36.63m).

ThaiBev announced an 11.5% climb in their earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization with it reaching a recorded $1.49b (Baht 36.63m).

The period includes the nine months of the financial year 2021, which ended on 30 June, and can be attributed to the diversity of their portfolio and the reduction of selling expenses in Myanmar and Thailand.

Meanwhile, the company also recorded a 3.6% increase in generated sales revenue totalling $3.72b (Baht 91.63m).

Despite this positive cash flow, the group recorded 1.1%, 6.4% and 12.9% declines in beer, non-alcoholic beverages and food divisions, respectively.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
