Formula 1 celebration geared up at Marina Bay Sands

The highly anticipated Ferrari F12berlinetta will be unveiled at The Shoppes on 18 September.

In a release, Marina Bay Sands is partnering with Ital Auto, the Official Ferrari Importer in Singapore, to bring a series of adrenaline-charged activities to visitors, such as the unveiling of the highly anticipated Ferrari F12berlinetta at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands on 18 September. This marks the very first time the F12berlinetta - the most powerful road-going Ferrari ever built - is displayed in Southeast Asia.

From 5-24 September, Ital Auto will also stage an exhibition at The Shoppes, taking fans through the history of the legendary Italian automotive company and its famous cars.

Guests who spend a minimum of S$100 on property can take part in three weekly draws[1] leading up to the F1 weekend. Totaling over S$110,000 in value, prizes include special VIP Sands SkyPark[2] night race party packages, exclusive hospitality passes to the Ferrari Challenge Singapore Gala Dinner at Gardens by the Bay, Ferrari merchandise, all-access passes to Art Science Museum at Marina Bay Sands, shopping vouchers and tickets to watch the upcoming hit Broadway musical, Jersey Boys, at the Marina Bay Sands theaters.

The draw will culminate in the grand prize of a trip for two to Milan to visit the distinguished Ferrari Museum in Maranello, Italy.

World-class celebrity chef restaurants at Marina Bay Sands have also crafted exclusive F1 menus to usher in a weekend of celebrations, with two celebrity chefs - Guy Savoy and Justin Quek - in town to join guests for the celebrations.

Tetsuya's Waku Ghin will open for lunch on 22 September, while Mozza will present its Pizzeria Mozza[4] F1 Picnic Box for diners who prefer to take away a meal and immerse in the F1 fanfare outdoors.

db Bistro Moderne will also introduce Daniel Boulud's F1 specials as part of its pre-race menu[5] from 21-23 September. These specials include seasonal highlights such as the Norwegian Scallop "Black Tie", Roasted Brittany Turbot and Shiga Prefecture A3 Beef Tenderloin.

At CUT, guests can enjoy the aptly named Locked n' Loaded, an invigorating drink comprising of Woodford Reserve Bourbon, Carpano Antica Formula, lemon, maple syrup and rhubarb.

Sky on 57, famous for its unparalleled views of the Singapore city skyline, will also offer a special set menu[7] for guests as they catch live telecast of the race both inside the restaurant and on its outdoor terrace. Over this six-course dinner, guests can savor all-time favorites from Chef Justin Quek's culinary repertoire, such as the Poached French Oysters with Spanish Ham, Wok-fried Maine lobster with Grilled M7 Wagyu beef and his signature Foie Gras Xiao Long Bao.

Guests who are looking to host a group party can opt for a private corner at Sky on 57's beautiful outdoor terrace. The West Terrace Promotion package, priced at S$988++, includes assorted canapés, JQ's signatures, petit fours and 1 Magnum of Veuve Clicquot, Yellow Label.

SweetSpot will also be crafting exquisite treats inspired by the Grand Prix under the creative hands of Chef Ryan Witcher, Executive Pastry Chef at Marina Bay Sands. The Formula 1 is a gold dusted almond macaroon with black sesame ganache and the Pole Position is a milk chocolate-pandan praline. The highlight is the Marina Bay Street Circuit dessert, which is a mango-hazelnut mousse cake with hazelnut daquoise and citrus-praline ganache. All these goodies will be available exclusively at the outlet located at Marina Bay Sands Hotel Tower 3 lobby, from 20-23 September.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
