MOE prepares students for safe AI use

Students and the education workforce to learn about proper AI use and its risks.

The Ministry of Education (MOE) is training students and the education workforce for the safe use of AI following plans to integrate the technology into schools and Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs).

MOE develops students’ foundational knowledge of AI and promotes its safe and responsible use in schools.

Educators are also provided with guidance, resources, and training to integrate AI to enhance learning.

Students are trained to understand AI, its uses and limitations, and ethical considerations. They are also allowed to further their learning through school-based programmes such as CCAs and Applied Learning Programmes (ALPs).

IHLs also have governance frameworks to ensure the ethical and responsible use of

In addition, workforce outside schools and IHLs can take up AI-related SkillsFuture courses to become smart and secure users of AI in their respective industries.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
